➽ Special cards - at the beginning of a game, each player draws 3 special cards. 1 card is discarded into a game box, 1 card is taken by the player, and 1 card goes to the pool near the board. Cards have a one-time effect or have an effect for the whole round. When the player finishes his turn, he takes one bonus card from the pool and puts his current card back in the pool.
At the beginning of your turn, a newly obtained card could be triggered, when needed, or it could have an effect for the whole round. Alternatively, instead of taking a card, a card in the pool could be marked by your train token and at the beginning of your next turn, the token is moved to another card.
➽ Goal cards - At the beginning of the game, draw 5 goal cards. Put them near the board. During the game, as an action, a player can activate a goal card by putting a train token on it. This goal card activates for all players. Only 3 goal cards could be activated during one game and all of them may be activated by one or more players. For the first player to activate a goal card, it will take 1 train token, for the second player - 2 and for the third - 3 train tokens. Those train tokens count as used tokens, however, won't score any points. Alternatively, spare train tokens could be used to mark a goal card. Count victory points for a goal cards before regular scoring. The first place is worth 10 points, the second - 5 points, the third - 2, the other places - 0 points.
